Brandy Strip Steaks

Rich flavor and a smooth taste

These steaks offer a different twist the everyday mundane steak.  Maybe have these tonight!

  • 4 Kansas City Strip Steaks
  • 1 Tablespoon garlic salt
  • 1 Tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic - minced
  • 3 Tablespoons brandy
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

To begin with, trim your steaks of any excess fat and season with the salt, and pepper.  Set aside to soak up the flavors.

While they are resting, take a skillet and begin to melt the butter.  Add the garlic, brandy, sugar and cinnamon.  Allow to simmer while the garlic begins to brown.  Do not overheat as all of the ingredients can burn easily.  Set aside and keep warm.

Grill your steaks until done to your perfection.  Remove and place on a serving plate.  Pour the sauce over the steaks and serve!
