Sweet honey and rich butter make a balanced glaze for carrots. This dish will make a colorful accompaniment to roast beef or chicken.

Barabicu Honey Glazed Carrots

Mexican food is everyone's favorite

Honey enhances browning and crispness.  It is great for glazing roasted and baked foods to promote surface browning.  Additionally, it is a flavor enhancer.

   7 or 8 large carrots

  • 1 Tablespoon Knox’s Salt Free Barabicu
    seasoning
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey
  • Fat pinch Salt

Slice carrots and boil until tender. Drain. Melt the butter and add the remaining ingredients. Pour over carrots and toss to coat. Serve warm. Guests will want the recipe!
